Edna Staebler Award nominations announced

After a busy summer of reading, the shortlist for this year’s Edna Staebler Award for Creative Nonfiction was announced last week. The nominees are:

– Joshua Knelman’s Hot Art: Chasing Thieves and Detectives through the Secret World of Stolen Art (Douglas and McIntyre, 2011),

– Robyn Michele Levy’s Most of Me: Surviving My Medical Meltdown (Greystone Books, 2012), and

– Andrew Westoll’s The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary. A Canadian Story of Resilience and Recovery (Harper Collins, 2011).

The winner will be announced on September 19, followed by an award presentation dinner and reading in Waterloo on November 13 and November 14 in Brantford.
