Great Canadian Non-Fiction Anthologies

Posted on December 5, 2013February 13, 2014 By Bruce Gillespie

I was delighted to discover that my books had made the list of Great Canadian Non-Fiction Anthologies at 49th Shelf, as part of the site’s #LitWishList series, just in time for the gift-buying season.

The list, compiled by Toronto-based writer and editor Kerry Clare, includes Nobody’s Father and Somebody’s Child and even gives a shout-out to my forthcoming anthology, A Family By Any Other Name, which will be released in April 2014.

My books are in good company, alongside great collections such as How to Expect What You’re Not Expecting: Stories of Pregnancy, Parenthood, and Loss and Addicted: Notes from the Belly of the Beast. So, if you’re shopping for books this holiday season, I humbly suggest that this list is worth checking out.
